What is gratitude?
First, let’s know that gratitude means a state in which you are thankful for or giving thanks for certain things in life. You could be grateful for many things that you have in life. This could be your health, money, wealth, relationships, etc.
So before diving into the importance of gratitude, I want to ask you a questio and do a simple exercise for cultivating a gratitude practice. My question is when you are grateful for a particular thing in life let’s say your life, family, mom or dad their good health might be anything right. So what this state of gratitude does is make you feel more happy about the thing you are grateful for, you feel good and happy, you radiate positivity within you, and as they say, energy goes where attention flows.
In this case, let’s you are grateful for the money you have or the good health of your family and you will attract more of that because you attract through the energy where attention flows. So this way you will be more abundant in each aspect of life and have more to be grateful for.
So gratitude is not just a word or a state of mind, it’s an important part of your life that helps you in living a happy, good, and positive life.
Gratitude exercise –
Now let’s do the gratitude exercise
Close your eyes.
Sit in a comfortable place.
Take a deep breath in and exhale from your mouth
Now simply inhale and exhale from the nose thinking that you are breathing in from your heart and it’s expanding.
Now during this breath process only think of a moment maybe of past or present you are grateful for and while thinking that say in mind I’m grateful for this moment. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Feel that moment, feel happy. Now be in that moment for 5 minutes at least
So how are you feeling light, calm?
You can practice this anytime you want to pay gratitude or you are feeling anxious.
Importance of gratitude
As we did a gratitude exercise so you know its importance. It can help you with the anxiety issues you might be having, stress, and assist you in feeling abundant which can change your life a way you may have not thought of.

It can help you to achieve your full self
3 things you can be grateful for
- Your good health-
You can be grateful for the good health you are having. You have a good physique. You are having your organs functioning properly which is ultimately leading to your good health.
- Your mom and dad-
You should be grateful for your mom and dad because they gave you birth. They help you in getting the facilities you need. They did each and everything for you as a good parent.
- God is always supporting you-
God is always supporting you, he will bless you and help you in tough times so man this is a great thing you can be grateful for.
So we have all the knowledge of why should you practice gratitude and why it is important. It will help you in getting more from the universe by the present moment appreciation. So promise yourself you will practice gratitude and help others with that.
